'mmm im in heaven.' Carrie stretched out more enjoying the sun on her skin.



'Better than snow boarding?' Kelly asked.



'Yeah yeah...OK I now know my idea of going snow boarding as a vacation was silly. '



'Silly?....I still want to know where you would get the little board for Joey. '



'Yeah OK ...your idea was better.'



'To right my idea was better.' Kelly lay back as she watched Elle play. It had been a month since Paul got arrested due to the fact he had a bad temper and managed to attack an officer while he was being questioned he had been not granted bail before his trial.



They had hired a private beach house in Miami where they could use the beach without anyone annoying them. They invited everyone along which came to a total of sixteen people, Carrie really didn't like that idea. Snow boarding didn't sound so bad when Jeanne was ordering everyone around.



'Like I said Sophie if you leave the steak on that long it will always burn.' Carrie turned to see her Jeanne and Jason's girlfriend both standing over the grill.



'Well like I said Jeanne..... most people don't want to be poisoned by the cooking.'



'No dear we'll just let everyone be poisoned by your perfume.' Jeanne smiled sweetly before walking away.



'Oh I loved that.' Ashley sat beside Carrie. ' That was worth the 6 hour drive here.'



'who knew Grandma was a bitch' Elle commented as she said on Ashley's knee.'



'Hey.' Kelly sat up taking off her sunglasses.' Where did you learn that word.'



'you?' Elle suggested.



'I have no answer for that' Kelly said turning to Carrie. 'But Grandma isn't a bitch.'



'So Sophie's the bitch?'



'Don't lie to the child.' Ashley said before Kelly could answer.

'Even if I meet a bitch?' Elle asked.



'Yes even then' Kelly shook her head as she watched Elle walk off inside the house. Carrie's father passed her coming out towards the girls.



'Hey look.' he said while holding Joseph. ' He's smiling at me' Holding up Joseph he showed them all the smiling baby.



'Yea.. he knows your the one with the money' Carrie said.



' I think that would be you care bear....'



'Anyway dad im glad you guys are bonding......It's nice to see.' Carrie turned towards her mother who sat by herself watching everyone around her.

'Kelly.......Kelly......Kelly' Carrie shock her her girlfriends shoulder. ' Kelly wake up....'

'No....sleep time... wake when it's morning.'



'Kelly...please.... I want to show you something.' Kelly rolled over letting out a sigh.



'Fine what?'



'Come with me' Carrie stood over her girlfriend, taking her hand Kelly allowed herself to be pulled out onto the balcony.



'OK show me' Kelly looked out towards the sea.



'Kelly?' Carrie whispered behind her. Turning Kelly saw Carrie on one knee in front of her.



'Carrie...what...what are you doing.'



'This isn't right?' Carrie asked.' should I stand?'



'What are you doing?' Kelly was panicking now.



'Kelly....I really don't know how to do this now...my minds gone completely blank.'



'What are you doing' Kelly was now raising her voice.



'I'm asking you to marry me' Kelly fell to her knees in front of Carrie' Your supposed to be standing I think.' Carrie whispered



'Shhh....let me think.....' Kelly looked into her girlfriends eyes looking to see any sign of her joking.



'I'm not doing this right am I?' Carrie whispered.



'I don't know......I think your supposed to ask me.' Carrie nodded her head licking her dry lips.



'OK... I can do that...OK Kelly......'

'Don't say anything till im done.'

'OK Kelly.' Kelly bite her tongue so she wouldn't say yes again. ' I had this beautiful speech on how I loved you and needed you and how special you are to me......and how my life's complete now I have you and the kids....but I can't remember a word of it.' Kelly let out a little laugh as she wiped the tears away from Carrie's face. 'But I just love....that's all I just completely and truly love you......I don't have fancy words or a big plan right now all I can say is that I'll always love you and take care of you and if you say yes I promise you ill never make you cry......only happy tears....if you just say yes ill promise to be so good for you.......So what do you say?'



'Yes' Kelly whispered.



'Yes?'

'yes' Carrie screamed causing Kelly to cover her mouth with her hand.



' shhh...they'll think we're having sex out here with all the yes's .' Pulling Carrie to her Kelly began to cry herself.



'God' Carrie sighed. ' that was the worst marriage proposal ever.'



'I thought it was wonderful....and you got a yes' Carrie pulled back.



' I was worried you'd say no.'



'Seriously.'



'Seriously......You could have said no.'



'Carrie come on' Kelly folded her arms in front of her.



'OK you would have said yes ....but I was still nervous......and I completely screwed up.'



'I thought it was perfect....your perfect.' Kelly smiled before leaning in and capturing Carrie's lips with her own.
